The Business Management programs provide an opportunity for students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary in order to hold positions of managerial responsibility in various government agencies, industry and businesses as varied as retail stores, financial institutions and manufacturing facilities. The program is also designed for students who are currently employed and who want to achieve

The courses in the program are taught by instructors who have real-world experience in business and industry, and who utilize state-of-the-art business methodologies and technology. Classes are readily available during the day, at night and online.   1. What different types of careers are there in business?
    Regardless of one’s major, if you are earning money, you ARE in business. There are a variety of careers available to graduates of the Business Management program. Some graduates may want to supervise others and some may want to work in business fields as varied as budgeting, finance, marketing, business analysis, retail, sales or even be an entrepreneur.
  2. What salary can I expect?
    Salaries are as varied as the employment opportunities and often depend on the economic cycle, industry and the location of the business. Salaries range from $18,000 for entry level managers to $800,000 or more for upper managers.
  3. Can pursuing a degree help me if I’m already employed and don’t want to change my job?
    Certainly! Having good business skills and attitudes that assist the company in reaching their goals are the basis for upward mobility.
  4. My schedule is busy. Can I obtain my degree at night or by distance learning?
    Absolutely! Evening courses are available, and the majority of the courses in the Associate Degree program (and subsequently the certificate programs) are available online.
