Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning

For more information, go to the Departmental Website.

We depend greatly on our heating and air-conditioning systems to work during cold winters and hot, humid summers. These systems consist of all kinds of complex machinery and electrical components. Heating and air-conditioning (HVAC) technicians understand all these parts, install and maintain these systems, and look for ways to save energy and cost while keeping us as comfortable as possible in residential, commercial, or industrial areas.

Victoria College offers several Air Conditioning training courses (HVAC Levels 1 - 4). These courses are taught in progressive levels using the nationally recognized Wheels of Learning curriculum. This curriculum was developed by the National Center for Construction and Research (NCCER) in cooperation with the HVAC industry. It provides competency-based, task driven, modular training and is designed to maximize learning by combining illustrated instructional materials and structured classroom activities conducted by craft instructors.
